I unknowingly began my lifetime career in this incredible industry in 1989 when I joined a local salon part-time while attending college. After achieving my BS in Psychology from Towson University in 1991, I found myself unwilling to leave the beauty world. My journey continued as I moved from receptionist to office manager and eventually a salon manager. Six years later, I ventured out on my own and purchased Image Is Salon in June of 1997.

After 15 years in our original location, I relocated Image Is Salon to our current location in the Broad Street Market. In 2013, I attended the Summit Salon Network Leadership Training with the intention of transforming the salon into a performance based, growth-oriented team environment. Image Is Salon officially became a “Summit Salon” in the fall of 2013 and I am proud to be able to provide a career path for all service providers.
